The League of Women Voters of Lexington NOW HAS AN APP!
The League’s app, League in Action (LIA) will help us keep members and volunteers informed of events, voting information, and legislative updates. We encourage all of our members, volunteers, registered voters and community members to join League in Action.
Voting laws and dates can be complicated in Kentucky, but with LIA you will receive election reminders in addition to all of the other League resources and information. Be sure to allow app notifications to get the most benefit!
Each level of League (local, state and national) deals with different issues, in reflection of the structure of our US government. Follow all three levels of League on League in Action to stay in the know:
Local League: LWV of Lexington, KY (Search “KY”)
State League: LWV of Kentucky (Search “KY”)
US League : LWVUS (Search “TQF340”)
Want to volunteer with the League?
League in Action is the best place to start. You can learn about what is happening and take action to advocate for issues. League in Action also makes it easy to share information with your friends and family through text or email.

LWVUS has resources to help whether you need a demo to get started, want to think of new ways for your League Committee to engage supporters or if you are a League In Action Administrator for the League and you need technical assistance.
1-2 p.m. EST Friday Office Hours – A space to ask technical questions and get information or help on managing Supporters, creating Actions, and more.
4-5 p.m. EST Friday Standing League in Action Demos– In order to jumpstart League In Action onboarding for as many Leagues as possible, LWVUS will host standing demos every Friday.
