The League of Women Voters will have their annual meeting. This meeting is free and open to the public.

DeBraun Thomas and Russell Allen will join members to talk about “Take Back Cheapside,” the initiative they co-founded in 2016 to ensure that Lexington’s official history was united with the memories of all its people.  With a strong coalition of supporters, they convinced city government to relocate the Confederate era statues of John C. Breckinridge and John Hunt Morgan from the front lawn of the old County Courthouse to the Lexington Cemetery.   The program is free and open to the public.
