Mayor Linda Gorton and the Breaking the Bronze Ceiling Committee are hosting a special celebration of Women’s Equality Day commemorating the passage of the 19th amendment to the Constitution in 1920, giving women the right to vote. There will be news about the Breaking the Bronze Ceiling campaign for a monument recognizing the historic contributions of women.

The League of Women Voters will be providing voter registration and information. This event is open to the public. All members of the League of Women Voters are invited to attend and to bring all your friends!
