Christian Muslim Dialogue (on Zoom): Extremism Explored

The topic for the next Christian-Muslim Dialogue program is "Extremism Explored". The program will be on August 28th at 10:00 a.m. and will be virtual via Zoom. Please see instructions below to receive the Zoom link to this program.  

 
This program will explore extremism and extremist activities in our national and local society. The expert panel below will share information about extremist ideologies and common characteristics of extremist organizations; help raise awareness of extremism in communities; and offer alternative narratives to counter extremist messaging.

These panelists will speak on the program:

  • Andrew Boone is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Kentucky where he also serves as the Anti-Terrorism Coordinator.

  • Hydee R. Hawkins is a Civil Rights Coordinator in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Kentucky. She handles criminal and civil cases involving civil rights violations.

  • Michael Brown is a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has worked as the Louisville Division’s subject matter expert in the FBI’s Civil Rights Program.
