The young leaders at Junior State of America are helping youth engage in civil dialogue and combat extreme partisanship in our politics.

In recent years, our political environment has become more partisan, and Americans are engaging less and less in civil political discourse. To reverse this trend, the youth of America are working to build bridges and combat hyperpartisanship in our communities.

On Wednesday, October 20th at 2pm ET, we’re excited to be joined by Junior State of America (JSA) - a student-led organization dedicated to helping high schoolers engage civilly in political discourse.

Our guest speakers are George B and Cecile P., governors with Junior State of America, who will discuss how young people in communities across the country are working to create healthy spaces for civil discourse and bring people together across divides. They'll provide some incredible examples from young people - like The Liberty, a Mid-Atlantic publication run by George, focused on civil dialogue.

In order to truly turn the tides on hyperpartisanship, we need to start with young people. We hope to see you there!
