ThruText Training: Volunteers needed for Summer Texting Campaign to help Restore Voting Rights

Volunteers needed for Summer Texting Campaign to help Restore Voting Rights

The Voting Rights Coalition is offering ThruText training for volunteers who want to help Kentuckians with non-violent felonies in their backgrounds who may be eligible to vote under the Governor’s December 2019 executive order. You can help them check eligibility and register. This is a rewarding new way to help restore voting rights to the thousands of people who are now eligible to vote, and you can do it from your own home.

This training provides the information you need along with messages and a script to follow in responding to people inquiring about voting. Volunteers use their own computer or phone, but remain anonymous in responding to inquiries.

On Monday 7 June, join the training on zoom at the link above.
