Meet the ACLU of Kentucky legal team over snacks and soft drinks before the main event begins. Learn about our current litigation and how you can get involved. 

6PM – Main Program

Join us at 6PM to meet the full ACLU-KY team, hear an update on our work from Interim Executive Director Amber Duke, listen to local performers, and enjoy heavy appetizers and soft drinks from DV8 Kitchen.

Our unique work keeps us busy in the courts and in Frankfort, but as a statewide organization we know we must connect members, donors, volunteers, community members, partner organizations, legislators, and cooperating attorneys throughout Kentucky. To help accomplish this, we are hosting our annual meeting in Lexington for the first time in recent years at the historic Lyric Theater!

Over the past several years, the Kentucky General Assembly has targeted the most vulnerable among us and sought to strip people of their basic civil rights and liberties. In response, Kentuckians came together and grew organizations like the ACLU of Kentucky. Your support allowed us to rapidly expand and deepen our efforts in Frankfort and in court, and we are now working to deepen our roots in the communities throughout the commonwealth that made this growth possible.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Lyric Theater and Cultural Arts Center for hosting this event. The Lyric Theater is ADA accessible and ASL interpretation will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome. Advance registration required.
