Lexington Public Service Commission (PSC) Public Comment Meeting (in person)

  • Frederick Douglass High School 2000 Winchester Road Lexington KY (map)

From Kentuckians for Energy Democracy

LGE and KU have an enormous case before the PSC that will drastically impact our energy future. This is your opportunity to get your voice heard.

Kentuckians know that we need to be moving away from fossil fuels, investing in energy efficiency programs that help the folks who need it most, and keep energy prices affordable for all of us.

Ensuring our utilities invest in clean, affordable energy is an affordable housing issue, it's a public health issue, it's a racial justice issue, and it's a climate justice issue. Let's fill the meeting with voices of folks who are directly impacted by LG&E-KU's bad decisions. (graphics attached for each of the 4 in person meetings)

---------

We asked for public meetings across the state and the PSC delivered! Join us at the upcoming Public Comment Hearings to get your voice heard on the current LG&E-KU case. This is a precedent setting case and will determine our energy future for the next 40 years.

Will the PSC allow LG&E-KU to retire aging coal plants? Will LG&E-KU be allowed to spend customer money to lock us into two new gas plants and 40 more years of fossil fuels? Will solar plans be approved and energy efficiency proposals be improved?

It's up to us to show up and make sure the PSC knows what we want to see! Find out more on our website www.k4ed.org/public-comment
