Vote Now KY
A diverse coalition of 10 women's organizations and another seven non-partisan groups have come together to combat Jefferson County's low voter turnout. What is believed to be the first of its kind in the country, this citywide voter education drive will blanket Jefferson County with information on voting, especially targeting those who don't usually vote: Millennials, Generation Z and low turnout precincts. Consulting and working with QtheAgency, a Louisville PR firm, bilingual user friendly, handouts, posters, billboards, TARC ads and all forms of social media are being designed with all the information a person needs to know in order to vote. According to various government sources, 98% of the citizens in Jefferson County are registered to vote, but only about 20% of those eligible voters actually go to the polls on Election Day. This 'in your face' movement will remind people to vote, explain how to vote and how to get help in order to vote. Because every voice needs to be heard. VoteNowKY is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) supported project, that encourages voter awareness and turnout.
