To help protect the citizens of our community from Coronavirus, this event has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a future date.

The LWV of Lexington will be touring the Special Collections/digital archiving area of the UK Library on Thursday,  March 19th at 1 PM.  Tour will be lead by Megan Mummey, Assistant Director for Collections. The UK library holds the collection of materials for the LWV of Lexington and we are interested in digitizing that material. We want to learn more about the process of preserving our records.  

Special Collections is located in the Margaret I. King Library (the “old Library”) on UK’s campus (179 Funkhouser Dr, Lexington, KY 40508). You can find directions and information on parking here - http://libraries.uky.edu/libpage.php?lweb_id=395&llib_id=13 I would suggest that the surface lot at Young Library or the Student Center would be the most convenient to the library.
