Join this virtual meeting to learn about voter registration in your community! We will also familiarize you with the current voting laws and election related deadlines. It will be an opportunity to also learn about new ways that we are connecting with voters to improve voter turnout. 

We encourage all volunteers to attend and familiarize themselves with this process that is integral to our mission.

Staying on top of all the updates is no easy task for groups like ours, let alone the thousands of organizations doing voter engagement work across the country. But just in time for primary and midterm season, our National Voter Registration Day partners at Nonprofit VOTE and VoteRiders have come together on the perfect topic for the perfect time this Wednesday (April 27) at 1 pm ET/ 10 am PT

Selene Gomez of VoteRiders will be on hand to give attendees the lowdown on all things voter ID laws, including how voters can obtain the ID needed to vote, and how you and your organization can be part of making elections accessible to all.

You will become familiar with the paper voter registration and also the online Secretary of State online portal for voter registrations, as well as, League specific Policies and procedures. Although you do not need to be a League member to join the training, we ask that you volunteer with the League and considering joining to support our mission of Making Democracy Work!

VoteRiders is a national, nonpartisan organization that assists people in obtaining the appropriate, state mandated ID to vote.
