Celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September 19 by joining the League of Women Voters of Kentucky for a virtual voter registration friendbank at 6:00 PM ET/ 5 PM CT! We will be texting our friends and family to verify their voter registration so they will be able to have their voice heard in the November election.
Join this virtual meeting to learn about voter registration in your community! We will also familiarize you with the current voting laws and election related deadlines. It will be an opportunity to also learn about new ways that we are connecting with voters to improve voter turnout.
We encourage all volunteers to attend and familiarize themselves with this process that is integral to our mission.
Interested in voter registration? We welcome all volunteers and LWV members interested in helping to get people not only registered to vote, but also out to the polls!
We will meet virtually on October 13, 5:30 PM. We will discuss efforts for the Nov. 2 special election.
Celebrate National Voter Registration Day by joining the LWVKY at a VIRTUAL, community event on September 28 at 6 PM, to encourage everyone in our social networks to check their voter registration. This will be a chance to bond with other volunteers interested in voter registration and to learn more about how you can take action with the LWV from just about anywhere.
We will be using OutreachCircle to connect with our contacts to make sure their voter registration information is current. We will have technical support to walk you through the process step by step. No technical experience required.
If you are passionate about voter registration, this is the event for you! Our goal is to connect with 500 people to remind them to update their voter registration. To reach this goal we only need 35 people to attend (who will each reach out to 15 people they know.) Believe me this is a lot easier than you think and we will show you how!
VoteRiders is a national, nonpartisan organization that assists people in obtaining the appropriate, state mandated ID to vote.
From VoteRiders: In 35 states, it’s not enough to register to vote! Yet, there are an estimated 25 million voters who lack a current, government-issued photo ID. It is crucially important that we educate and assist those in need of voter ID help – especially as millions of Americans navigate voting early or by mail due to COVID-19.
Please join VoteRiders on July 28th at 3 PM ET for our first-ever national Voter ID Tools and Services training!
